We are searching for E&C Engineer II for a 1 yr. contract assignment.   This role will essentially be an Engineering project lead at a power station in Pueblo, Co. This individual will be responsible for many assigned capital emergent projects and working with the plant to develop the scope of the project, submitting emergent project requests for approval and funding.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for many assigned capital emergent projects and working with the plant to develop the scope of the project, submitting emergent project requests for approval and funding.
  • Will be managing those projects from cradle to grave. Everything from getting the contract scope of work in place to overseeing the work at the plant facility, getting all materials ordered, safety, quality, budgeting, and schedule.
  • The selected individual is expected to be onsite at the plant five days a week as they will be working very closely with the operations and maintenance groups at the plant because most of the work for this site and role will be performed by Plant operations and maintenance personnel.
  • The selected individual will also work closely with the Reliability engineering group there as well will be Support will be there to support the technical aspects of the projects.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years technical [Mechanical] experience is preferred (most projects are mechanical in nature).
  • Any manufacturing and industrial experience is acceptable.
  • Should have cradle to grave Project management experience.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be collaborative and willing to ask questions and learn.
  • Should be self-driven and show initiative.
