About the role:

As an entry level Project Engineer, you will strengthen Nuclear Safety Culture Traits and Human Performance tools at Westinghouse supporting internal Department projects.

You will report to the IMS, BIM and Digital Design Integration PEM for the US-based AP1000 Poland Project. You will work hybrid in a position based in Rock Hill, SC. No relocation provided. We can consider applicants able to work in the US w/

Responsibilities:

• Support Internal Department Projects, improvement for future estimation process of New Plant Builds, Project deliverables, Design configuration and digital design

• Communicate with construction partners, customers, partners and regulators

• Future bid and proposal efforts in several European countries including technical specifications for new nuclear power plants, partnership proposal or plant designer organizations.

• Develop Westinghouse technical positions with relevant technical groups and manager and defend these positions in front of potential customers or partners

• Assess incoming technical requests and develop response plan stemming from interactions potential customers, regulatory engagement or internal projects and engage with the wider Global Engineering Services organization to develop a response plan and provide cost estimates

• Compile existing technical design information across technical areas into reports, implement the response plan, complete tasks, and interact w/ engineering groups for support calculations, analyses or reviews, and steer the work to meet our schedule, budget and quality commitments.

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience

• Bachelor in Engineering (IT, Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Electrical or Civil)
