The Scheduling Lead is responsible for the planning and scheduling through the production schedules.  In addition to being a lead contributor, they will provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to others.  They will coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain and other functional organizations.  The Scheduling Lead has developed depth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines.   There are two open roles for Scheduling Leads!

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Solve Problems
    • Resolve standard and non-standard problems using defined processes, their own experience, operational & supervisory expertise
    • Have in-depth knowledge / expertise of work processes and tools within Project Controls / Scheduling and knowledge of the related disciplines
    • Apply technical and/or managerial expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to employees in Project Controls / Scheduling
    • Resolve operational, customer, employee or technical problems that impact the effectiveness of Project Controls / Scheduling
    • Explain difficult issues and obtains agreement as needed
    • Anticipate internal/external business issues
    • Develop innovative solutions and ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives
    • Develop and manage plans to achieve objectives
    • Take leadership role; act as a facilitator

 

  • Coordinate work
    • Coordinate work outside own area of expertise
    • Coordinate work activities with other team members
    • Work independently with minimal guidance
    • Set priorities to meet deadlines
    • Develop relationships with key internal/external customers

 

  • Strive for Customer Satisfaction
    • Anticipate customer needs to influence the development of innovative solutions
    • Anticipate and interprets customer needs to identify solutions
    • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
    • Promote teamwork; coaches and guides others

 

  • Have in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge

 

 

Who You Are:

  • 5 years of project controls experience within the industry with increased levels of complexity.  Years in technical/engineering lead role may be considered as equivalent. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and solve high-level problems. Proven ability to analyze information and engage in complex decision making.
