Manager, Digital Solutions

If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Solutions Manager on our Digital Planning & Execution team!  The Digital Solutions Manager role is a product focused leader who will support Westinghouse and its customers to digitally enable processes and capabilities in the energy industry and will work closely with the services and global business unit leaders across Westinghouse to bring concepts from ideation through proof of concept and into a commercially viable solution. The Digital Solutions Manager will be key partners with the regional business unit and sales account teams to strategize on the Westinghouse/customer value propositions, flush out the business need, engage in deep dives and workshops to outline solutions and work with development teams (and strategic partners) to iteratively drive development, delivery, and support commercial success.
 

Your Day to Day:

  • Cultivate and ensure collaboration across the enterprise to drive alignment within one of the distinct themes including but not limited to Asset Management, Smart Worker, Services (Work Management), Data & Analytics and eCommerce 
  • Engage directly with the D&I organization to enable the D&I vision of driving global Westinghouse and industry modernization by leveraging innovative digital and technology solutions to improve the position of WEC and our customers relative to safety, profitable growth, and process efficiency
  • Responsible for the overall success of a solution in the global market, or within internal utilization, working with the various business units (Americas, EMEA & Asia) to ensure it is commercially successful, generating appropriate internal KPI’s (where applicable) and able to be implemented and maintained as a scalable and high quality solution. This responsibility will be achieved within a given theme through, but not limited to, the following; 
    • Drive technology adoption by internal and external customers with change management in a Business-to-Business setting focusing on customer centricity, faster time to market, higher revenue growth, lower costs, and establishing a more engaged workforce
    • Establishing clear, customer specific collateral around solutions and go-to-market efforts
    • Working with Westinghouse market development to document the go-to-market efforts and ensure proper implementation, maintenance, and alignment across the regions
    • Aligning to a clear process around working with customers, development teams, business units, and functional areas
    • Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in order to gain alignment and commitment to key performance indicators and financial commitments from the business by becoming a trusted advisor and partner
    • Instill a mentality of a learning organization that tirelessly searches for and finds new technology and innovations across multiple markets and industries
    • Develop and deliver senior management level documents and presentations which clearly articulate investment needed, business return, and establishing continued reporting guidelines and management of KPIs
    • Drive commercial effectiveness through leadership, oversight, guidance and the provision of standard tools/templates necessary to support aligning various initiatives within the business units, functional areas and external facing regions by driving collaboration in understanding needs/use cases, go-to-market strategies and product/service pricing models.

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • B.S. degree in business management, information technology, computer science or software development
  • 7+ years of experience in business, operations or consultation services with increasingly progression and complexity and levels
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred
  • Technical knowledge of data science, data management, platform architecture, artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, AR/VR and other modern technologies that can be applied to digital solutions
  • Strong leadership, commercial effectiveness, product management, change management and communication skills
