Opportunity Overview:

Safety Professional for Outage onsite at Susquehanna Nuclear Plant in Berwick, PA.

You will report to the site Manager.

You will work either night or day shift 12 hours.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Lead the development and facilitate the implementation of comprehensive safety processes (policies, procedures, processes) for organization at the project level.
• Review current documentation and prepare for an audit.
• Establish and maintain an organization structure and staffing to provide cost effective safety & health services.
• Identify the needs, then lead the development of appropriate environmental, safety & health education/training programs and other services at the project level.
• Leverage industry and company environmental, safety & health knowledge, best practices and lessons learned at the project level.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• 5+ years safety professional experience in Nuclear.
• Knowledge of Government Nuclear Regulatory processes
• Safety experience in the following areas: fall protection, electrical safety, Lockout/tag out, cranes & rigging, hot work, personal protective equipment, hand & power tools, powered industrial trucks, case management confined space, machine guarding and respiratory protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Operate as a change agent through teamwork; demonstrated success as a team player.
• Knowledge of radiation safety programs and requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Plus Certified Training or Bachelor' Degree or Equivalent
• 18 years of age.
• You will pass the nuclear background, fitness for duty, including a pre-employment drug screen and site testing.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $75/hour to $80/hour.
