Snubber Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Snubber Specialist to work at our client’s site located in Bridgman, MI for a short-term outage contract position.  As a Snubber Specialist, you are responsible for snubber and rigging activities within the power plant.  You have the ability to stand for long periods, withstand warm environment at times, can safely climb ladders and stairways, ascend/descend scaffolding, and enter tight/congested areas.  You have experience working in the Nuclear Power industry.  You enjoy the fast-paced work demands throughout plant outages.  

Job Details/Essential Job Functions:

•    Complex rigging 
•    Snubber swap outs
•    Various mechanical activities

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

•    High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
•    Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana as well as CBD oil), and employment testing. 
•    Be able to be qualified to work within the radiological controlled area
•    Snubber rebuild and testing knowledge, preferred
