Opportunity Overview:

Mechanical Planner – Palisades Nuclear Power Plant, Covert, MI – 6 Month+ Contract Role

WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse has a great opportunity for an experienced I&C Planner. You will work on site at Palisades nuclear site in Covert, Michigan, supporting work with Westinghouse. We estimate this to be a 6-to-12-month contract with full-time hours. You will report to the Site Manager and the Installation Operations Manager.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Take Approved Design/Engineering Change Package and develop Work Order and write work steps for field implementation
• Field Engineering support to walk down the modification for constructability
• Develop BOM (Bill of Material) for ordering parts and issuance to the project

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering
• We will consider experience in nuclear projects in lieu of an engineering degree.
• Additional education in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• Current Qualifications for Planning APS
• Experienced Mechanical / Civil Planner in the Nuclear Industry with history of Weld Map creation
• 6-8 + years of experience in the nuclear field

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $75.00/hour to $100.00/hour.
