Construction Supervisor - Power Plant Capital Projects

About the role:

Amarillo, TX

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to support Base Capital Projects across multiple power generation facilities. You will provide hands-on field oversight during project execution and major plant overhauls, serving as the on-site representative when project managers are not present. You will have a construction background within power generation, heavy industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or similar environments and be comfortable managing multiple projects while coordinating contractors, vendors, and plant personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily on-site management and oversight during capital projects and outage activities.
• Coordinate construction activities with project managers, plant operations, maintenance teams, and contractors.
• Oversee welding, scaffolding, painting, equipment installation, and other field construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements and support safe execution of critical lifts and high-risk work.
• Review project progress, maintain documentation, and compile weekly status reports.
• Track project records, including weld documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
• Support project schedules, identify field issues, and help guide project completion.
• Travel regularly to power plant sites in Amarillo, Lubbock, Earth (TX), and Hobbs (NM).

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of construction supervision experience in power generation, heavy industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
• Experience overseeing contractors, vendors, and field construction activities.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices, permit systems, and critical lift planning.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site 5 to 6 days per week during outage periods.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55.00/hour to $60.00/hour.
