If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Contract Manager at our Cranberry Twp., PA location.  The Contract Manager will Support the management of executed contracts and related activities across the contract management process, consistent with applicable Company Contract Management policies, standards and procedures.  Further, this role will help manage major contracts for Business Unit on the assigned contracts and will help the BU CM Manager coordinate with Legal (including CM COE & Commercial Affairs), Business Unit, Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer reviews as necessary. Finally, the Contract Manager builds relationships with critical customers and Company representatives.   


What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:


  • Manage a set of executed contracts and related activities in accordance with the contract management process and relevant policies.
  • Provide support for developing the contract management summary sheet after the signature of contracts that summarizes all the relevant commercial terms and conditions.
  • Monitor performance of obligations contained within the contract in accordance with the terms and conditions and/or Master Service Agreement (MSA) provisions.
  • Manage the maintenance of the contract management database to track key dates (expirations, renewals) and assess demand.
  • Support maintenance of the log of all customer communications, including change requests and responses. Review and analyze all proposed contract and technical changes and related contractual impact.
  • Support coordination with Supply Chain on monitoring and management of supplier contracts.
  • Prepare updated draft contract documents, change requests and formal change orders, update contract files as needed.
  • Participate in all contract close-out activities at the conclusion of the contract term/project completion, including validation and acceptance of all commercial obligations defined within the contract.
  • Provide support in the management of any remaining contractual obligations such as warranties or other services, and formal contract closeout.


What We’d Like to See From You:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience. MS or MBA or JD degree desired. Contract Management Certification desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in contract management position.   A preference of 3 years’ experience directly managing contracts within nuclear power industry.
  • Ability to interact with and present to senior management (internally and externally)
  • Ability to interact with and present to Directors and Managers across company, Business Unit, Project and externally
  • Experience with varying contract types: fixed-price, cost, cost-reimbursable, time and material and incentive type contracts is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting, effective writing.
  • Well-developed communication skills with ability to interface with multiple levels of operations personnel, functional staff and direct-reports are required.
  • Desired Qualifications: Advance degree (MA, MBA, JD); Contract Management Certification




  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – Preferred;.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or similar professional registration/certifications relevant to the type of services and projects being managed. - Preferred
