Opportunity Overview

Position Title: Digital and Innovation Portfolio Lead Analyst - US Citizenship required

Base Location: Remote or Cranberry Twp, PA

Length of Contract: Approximately 3-4 months

Job Overview: The Westinghouse Digital and Innovation (D&I) portfolio is seeking a highly skilled financial analyst to lead the creation and refinement of standardized business cases. This position plays a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making by ensuring consistency, intellectual rigor, and analytical precision in financial business case development. The analyst will work closely with senior leadership, finance teams, and project stakeholders to assess project viability and optimize resource allocation.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

• Develop and refine financial business case templates for all projects in the D&I portfolio.
• Conduct thorough financial modeling, including scenario analysis, risk assessment, and return on investment calculations to support decision-making.
• Standardize and maintain financial models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and ease of use across projects.
• Prepare and present detailed financial cases to senior management and stakeholders, offering clear insights into project feasibility and expected returns.
• Collaborate with finance, strategy, and business unit leaders to gather required financial inputs and validate assumptions.
• Ensure projects align with the company’s financial objectives, strategic goals, and operational requirements.
• Provide recommendations and insights on optimizing business case development and financial forecasting processes.
• Oversee the tracking and performance evaluation of approved projects, ensuring they meet financial targets and deliver expected returns.
• Support leadership in investment prioritization, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to the highest-value initiatives.

What We Need to See from You:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in financial modeling, business case development, or related roles in corporate finance, consulting, or investment analysis.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling tools, valuation methodologies, and scenario analysis techniques.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigor, ensuring accuracy in forecasts and financial assessments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.
• Experience working with digital transformation and innovation portfolios is preferred.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
