Full time contract to potential hire in Pocatello ID area

$29/hr starting

M-F day shift

 

SUMMARY

The Flap Cutter is responsible for cutting rubber to produce belt flaps. This role follows prescribed paths with routine steps that do not require changes. The position consists of 95% cutting flaps and 5% maintaining a clean work area. No previous experience is required; training will be provided.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Personally exhibits, recruits, and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
  • Responsible for promoting a culture of safety
  • Cut rubber according to production specifications
  • Follow set procedures and paths to ensure consistent production quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area used for cutting
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform all work in accordance with ISO processes and procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • No previous experience required—on-the-job training provided
  • Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurement and cutting accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Must be punctual and act with a sense of urgency
