About the role:

We are looking for an Entry-Level Gas Distribution Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of natural gas infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for engineering design, project scoping, cost estimating, regulatory compliance, and construction support for new and replacement pipeline assets.

You will work with Project Managers, Operations personnel, and external vendors. This collaboration will help ensure that these team members complete projects safely, and in compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.

This position reports to the Engineering Supervisor. It works closely with a six-person engineering team and an eight-person project management team. The teams support the planning, design, and execution of natural gas infrastructure projects.

This is a hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado, with on-site work required Tuesday through Thursday at the Denver office and remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, design, and execution of gas infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and project documentation.
• Develop project tracking reports and status updates.
• Maintain service spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and engineering calculations.
• Research and verify existing asset and system information.
• Help with cost estimating and project scoping activities.
• Prepare operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Support Stage Gate and project approval processes.
• Participate in project team meetings, training sessions, and coordination meetings.
• Provide engineering support during construction and field activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety requirements, and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or a similar CAD platform.
• Microsoft Experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $40.00/hour to $45.00/hour.
