Location: Pittsburgh region for hybrid in-office at the Westinghouse Cranberry Township, PA  Location 

Option for out of the area (over 50 miles) working remote

Your Day-to-Day:

The Contract Recruiter should expect to be responsible for the following:

 

  • Source, interview, and select applicants for entry level, technical, professional, internal and external positions.
  • Meet with hiring managers to determine job duties.
  • Write job descriptions.
  • Match applicants to job openings.
  • Source for future job openings.
  • List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels.
  • View applications.
  • Call applicants and perform phone screens.
  • Set up on site interviews as well as Teams interviews.
  • Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and whom they will be speaking with during the interview.
  • Arrange for travel and lodging.
  • Facilitate meeting between hiring manager and applicant.
  • Interview applicants.
  • Hand out and grade assessments.
  • Participate in final selection of applicants.
  • Create a portfolio of possible candidates for hiring manager.
  • Send background checks on applicants and identify potential red flags.
  • Inform candidate of company's decision.
  • Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits.
  • Inform applicants not chosen of company's decision.
  • Keep track of all applications, file important notations such as gender, race, and ethnicity.

 

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of agency and/or corporate recruiting experience including LinkedIn
    • Prior recruitment experience with Technical, Engineering, IT and related industry roles strongly preferred.
  • Applicant Tracking Experience and Staffing experience.
    • Prior SAP/SuccessFactors experience preferred.
