Opportunity Overview:

 

We are looking to hire a Requirements Management Engineer to support the Requirements Management team and Westinghouse projects

 

What your day-to-day looks like:

 

  • Requirements Management and DOORS support as required by the Requirements Management team and projects (e.g., DOORS Imports, Metrics Reporting, etc.)
  • Create and test DXL/RPE scripts
  • Play an active role testing DOORS upgrades
  • Requirements Management process and training support
  • Requirements Management Documentation support
  • Contract review and decomposition  
  • Analysis of technical documents for design requirements and process requirements
  • Creation and update of requirement management plans and job aids
  • Support I&C Functional and System Design activities

What we’d like to see from you:           

    

  • Technical BS Degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in public speaking, presenting, and coordinating/leading meetings on material related to requirements management
  • A desire and willingness to learn
  • Ability to apply fundamental engineering and requirements management principles
  • Ability to work within a team and to be able to handle tasks independently in both onsite and remote settings
  • Preferred, but not required, proficient in IBM DOORS and RPE
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, most notably in Word and Excel
  • Adept at learning and writing software coding languages
