About the role:

This is a long-term contract opportunity for a Senior Scheduler for the LEU+ project at the Columbia Fuels Facility in Hopkins, SC. This is a REMOTE opportunity. You will report to the Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Your will be responsible for all project controls activities for moderate to high complexity project, a portfolio of low complexity projects, or for a subset of high complexity programs scope.

Lead teams through all phases of a moderate complexity project.

You will be a project controls SME focusing on project scheduling.

Must have advanced skills in communication, cross-cultural awareness and leadership.

Primavera scheduling experience required.

You will coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management

Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which include, but do not limit project baselines and risk registers.

Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that you reduce inefficiencies, and optimize overall project performance.

Apply schedule, cost, and risk analytics to confirm validity of plan

You will be a lead in schedules, costs, and risk activities. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to departments.

Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process

Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope

Promote teamwork and, which includes maintenance and distribution of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all your team are kept informed of project status

Develop or oversee project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members

Communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work

Integrate project's goals and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern

Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance

Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical discipline

6-12 years project controls/scheduling experience in the position functional/technical area

Set up the structure and process for the 5-year project in P6

Work with the project team to load the work scope and maintain the quality of the schedule

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $75/hour to $80/hour.
