PL/SQL .NET Developer

About the role:

This is a great opportunity for a contract Developer, reporting to the Manager of Information Systems Programs,developing database-driven applications in a dynamic environment. Working with business analysts, senior developers, and end-users, finding reliable, scalable solutions using Oracle databases and Microsoft .NET technologies. In this hybrid role, you will work both off-site and onsite in Columbia, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Oracle PL/SQL code
• Use Stored procedures, functions, packages, or triggers
• Perform SQL queries and performance tuning
• Design applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or WinForms/WPF as applicable)
• Integrate .NET applications with Oracle databases
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Debug, test, and resolve application and database issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
• Help with application deployments and production support
• Collaborate with teams including QA, DBAs, and our users
• Document technical designs and application logic

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or Equivalent professional experience or relevant technical training
• 1–5 years experience in application development (or equivalent coursework/projects)
• In-depth experience with PL/SQL and .NET development, C# and .NET Frameworks, or .NET Core
• 1-5 years of general development experience including:
  • RESTful APIs
  • ASP.NET MVC or Web APIs
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• 1+ years of experience using Visual Studio
• Understanding of source control systems (Git, TFS, or similar)
• WebLogic Server/Administrator
• Oracle Forms or legacy systems
• Agile or Scrum environments

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85/hour to $100/hour.
