CSW - Sludge Lance Technician

Opportunity Overview:   CSW-Sludge Lance Technician - Contract Role for Spring 2024 Outage

WECTEC Staffing Services is now hiring for nuclear technicians to fulfill plant outage assignments in the Spring of 2024!

CSW’s provide the hands-on work in containment to execute secondary side service activities.  In addition to the responsibilities below the CSW must be thoroughly familiar with the practices required to work in an FME Zone 1 and understand all associated inspection and logging requirements.  The CSW should also be competent with ALARA practices for working in high radiation areas.

Training will be held in January 2024 to prepare for the Spring outage season.   

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Under the direction of knowledgeable technicians set up equipment to support SG Secondary work. 
• Work will include running hoses and cables, staging equipment, and material handling.
• Assist with the installation and alignment of sludge lance fixtures.
• Perform platform support of sludge lance, including installing and removing lance sections.

What we need to see from you:

• Nuclear power plant experience preferred but not required.
• One year of nuclear outage experience is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
