Opportunity Overview: Reactor Component Upgrade Supervisor – 12 Month FT Contract role
Westinghouse/WECTEC Staffing is looking for a Reactor Component Upgrade Supervisor to begin work for Fall 2025 Outage.
The Reactor Component Upgrade Supervisor oversees Maintenance Personnel. Responsible to supervise the daily work of maintenance personnel in the inspection, repair, and rebuilding of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation components. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and efficiency of nuclear reactor operations.
What your day-to-day looks like:
- Ensuring Safety Compliance: Ensure that all industrial and radiation safety requirements are followed during operations.
- Leadership and Management: Possess strong leadership abilities to manage the intricacies of reactor operations and personnel involved.
- Planning and Implementation: Work with teams to plan and implement reactor component upgrades, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on reactor components and associated equipment.
What we need to see from you:
- High school education required.
- A combination of education and experience with Reactor Components is preferred.
- Demonstrate skills in the competency area of nuclear equipment services.
- The ability to work shifts and overtime, as required.
- The ability to pass background screening, drug test and be deemed trustworthy and reliable.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position including routinely lift and transport of 40 pounds, frequently bend and stoop, stand and walk for 4-6 hours per day.
- Position may be subject to the requirements of both Westinghouse and customer "Security" and "Fitness for Duty" programs.
