About the role:

This position is for an 18-month contract Machinist 4 position with the Welding and Machining team, you will program, set up and operate various equipment in the fabrication shop. This will include CNC equipment, milling machines and lathes. In the execution of your work, you will read and interpret blueprint and mechanical drawings

You will report to the Senior Manufacturing Supervisor.

You will report onsite at our Manning, SC facility.

This is an anchor position that is required onsite five days a week, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up and operate CNC equipment, milling machines and lathes
• Interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Maintain equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years relevant experience drilling, boring, turning, grinding operations
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with precision measuring instruments required.
• You will pass a background and drug screen prior to starting work.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $45/hour to $50/hour.
