Civil Construction Supervisor

About the role:

Location: Seminole, TX

Per diem paid 7 days/week plus a monthly travel stipend

You will support a greenfield power generation project involving the installation of five simple‑cycle combustion turbines. This greenfield site requires comprehensive civil construction, including clearing and grading, roads, drainage, foundations, underground utilities, and concrete structures supporting combustion turbine systems.

The Civil Construction Supervisor III will oversee and inspect all civil activities performed by the EPC contractor to ensure compliance with contractual and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities
• Review and verify survey layouts, elevations, and as‑built conditions
• Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS / Survey123
• Ensure work complies with civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical requirements
• Document inspection results and deficiencies in Xcel Energy systems
• Participate in daily POD meetings and coordination efforts
• Maintain safety and quality standards across active civil work zones
• Support schedule coordination and milestone readiness

Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of civil construction oversight experience
• Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with surveying, concrete placement, and earthwork inspections
• 1+ years of experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
