About the role:
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to support large-scale solar and wind generation projects near Earth, TX. You will provide technical oversight and support throughout the project lifecycle, with a focus on drawing reviews, RFI management, and construction support across multiple active projects.
You will be a necessary technical resource, ensuring engineering deliverables, contractor submissions, and field activities align with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects while working across our teams, EPC contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate engineering drawings, submittals, studies, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Respond to RFIs and non-conformance requests, resolving technical issues and design conflicts
- Collaborate with project engineers, construction teams, EPC contractors, and vendors to support both engineering and construction activities
- Provide on-site support during construction, addressing technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring installations meet design intent
- Coordinate with our teams including operations, environmental, siting, land rights, and supply chain
- Support permitting and regulatory coordination with local, state, and federal agencies
- Track and document project communications, approvals, and changes to maintain compliance and continuity
- Use platforms such as ProjectWise, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office for document review and communication

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $80.00/hour to $84.00/hour.
