Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for an Engineering Project Coordinator within the natural gas distribution infrastructure renewal program. You will support engineering and construction deliverables for field packages, including AutoCAD drawing updates, documentation, and administrative procedures. You will be a coordination point between project management, third‑party mechanical contractors, and team members. Your role involves fielding questions, clarifying procedures, and ensuring each work package is complete, compliant, and ready for execution.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Pull assigned projects and assemble work packages (drawings, procedures, forms).
- Maintain engineering drawings (AutoCAD) and associated technical paperwork.
- Be the contact for project managers, construction crews, and third‑party mechanical contractors.
- Respond to contractor inquiries; route/escalate technical questions; track resolutions.
- Ensure package completeness and compliance with internal standards and procedures.
- Maintain logs, trackers, and shared repositories for status, changes, and approvals.
- Support schedule and material readiness milestones; flag risks and missing information early.
- Prepare routine reports (daily/weekly) on package progress and outstanding actions.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Industrial or related).
- 1–3 years of experience in engineering, CAD, or technical project coordination
- CAD experience (AutoCAD)
- Exposure to engineering fluids/manufacturing/welding environments.
- Prior experience assembling work packages, construction task planning, or utility paperwork.
