Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a detail‑driven, analytical Project Scheduler to support a diverse portfolio of large capital projects across multiple energy generation facilities, including gas, coal, wind, solar, and hydro. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and report on project schedules that guide major overhaul and improvement initiatives. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, operations personnel, and contractors to ensure project timelines are realistic, well‑structured, and accurately tracked from planning through execution.

This position offers exposure to a wide range of project types, the opportunity to influence scheduling standards and best practices, and the chance to play an essential role in the successful completion of high‑visibility capital projects. The work is primarily office‑based, with occasional site visits for project alignment and fieldwork assessment.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project; assist with Primavera P6.
  • Build WBS structures, identify critical paths, and update schedules as project conditions change.
  • Prepare monthly schedule status reports and maintain the integrated master schedule.
  • Present schedule insights during project review meetings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and operations teams.
  • Coordinate contractor labor schedules, material timelines, and work order readiness.
  • Track work orders throughout the scheduling workflow and provide readiness updates.
  • Support project managers during field execution by identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Help prepare status reports, presentations, and shared project documentation.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction, utilities, project scheduling, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project; familiarity with Primavera P6.
  • SAP or cost‑integrated scheduling.
  • 2–3 years of scheduling experience (or entry‑level with organizational abilities).
  • Bachelor's in construction management engineering or business degrees also acceptable.
  • Familiarity with Gantt charts, WBS, Critical Path Method, contractor coordination, and schedule reporting.
