About the role:
We're looking for an Account Specialist-Level 2 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will provide support to assigned team as measured by completion of required planning and execution, and client feedback. Employees in this role are responsible for using business and customer insights. These insights help develop and implement communication strategies. The goal of these strategies and tactics is to improve customer and team member perception. Campaign results measure this improvement through media coverage, and brand and message awareness results report it.
You would need to travel and this will require airline travel and driving to events. Employees in this role will expect to provide excellent media relations support measuring it by media results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and execution of strategic communications plans, main messages, programs and campaigns to support business objectives using research/analytics. Creates visual and written content for internal and external channels (newsletters, digital and social media, video, etc.).
- Support internal partners on communications strategy and provide executive and communications support.
- Serve as liaison for assigned business units and serves as project manager for campaigns and cross-functional initiatives.
- Draft media statements/press releases, answers media inquiries, serves as media spokesperson, which could include afterhours media duty. Proactively builds relationships with the media and seeks out opportunities to tell our company story.
- Support planning and execution of events.
- Measure results and evaluates the effectiveness of communications and tactics to guide improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $23.00/hr. to $28.00/hr.
