Budget Analyst

About the role:

We're looking for a Budget Analyst-Level 1 on behalf of our client. This is a 6-month contract assignment.(W-2) The person would be able to process complex financial documents and related information. You would need problem-solving skills to gather the company's budget and to create solutions to any financial issues.

You would also need to have a strong background in accounting and finance to perform well in this position. You would be able to accurately parse budgets and other financial documents, identify areas for growth and improvement and create solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture trades into SOX Application and execute the end-of-day recaps and reports.
• Verify Positions, monitors daily Value at Risk and other risk related measures.
• Reconcile broker and other external statements associated with transaction.
• Need to provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information.
• Need to handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects.
• Help with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
• Support the development and execution as need for the trade capture platform in close collaboration with IT Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors preferably Accounting Major
• Ad-hoc reports development using SQL & Power BI
• Excel based ad-hoc reports development and automate them using macro as needed
• Must be able to balance analysis with clear communication and problem solving ideas
• Must be able to communicate the proposed solutions to management.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $23.00/hr. to $28.00/hr.
