About the role: Location: Story City, IA 50248

We are looking a for an Engineer-Level 1 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) They need a Subject Matter Expert in motor rewinds and repairs.

You don't have to have specific OM knowledge, just motor repair knowledge as a whole

You will need to be able to provide guidance on testing and repairs. No travel required between sites. You will be a key player in maintaining, repairing wind turbines, solar generation equipment, and serving as a vital storage hub for renewable energy components.

1-year contract assignment. (W-2)

 

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be a key player in maintaining, repairing wind turbine, solar generation equipment, as well as serving as a vital storage hub for renewable energy components

• You will be working to start an electrical motor repair process to add to the current mechanical and electrical repairs.

• You will use your engineering experience primarily in motor repair and rewinding.

• You will help establish procedures and process related to motor repairs.

• You will work with site management and mechanical engineer to identify equipment needs to rebuild, rewind, and test electric motors.

 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.

• Experience developing expertise in engineering standards, project coordination, and decision-making.

• Experience in the electric motor repair industry is required for this role.
