About the role:

We're looking for a Project Manager_ Transmission & Substation on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will manage the Early Stage (ES) process for High Voltage Transmission and Substation projects. Coordinate and support the Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain and Construction resources through the pre-construction (ES) activities for Transmission and Substation projects within the Engineering and Construction (E&C).

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408 or Remote is an option for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of project plans with focus on execution, cost, and schedule

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Development, Land, Environmental, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement (ISC), Engineering, and Operations

• Manage integration across scope, schedule, and budget

• Prepare RFP packages to competitively source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services

• Support Estimating with detailed scope and assumptions for financial models

• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies

• Provide progress, issue, and risk updates to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management

• Experience 2 years to 5 years

• Experience managing projects >$100MM

• Strong project management.

• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and cost

• Strong documentation skills

• Ability to travel (~25%)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $30.00/hr. to $35.00/hr.
