About the role:

We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will manage and maintain existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution. You will support special projects such as identifying and resolving past due purchase orders, data cleanup and validation activities and preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for the transition to GEP.

You will report to the onsite manager.

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

Key Responsibilities:

Create purchase orders (POs) and promptly.

• Manage and maintain existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution.
• Support special projects, such as identifying past due purchase orders. These projects also include data cleanup and validation activities, and preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for the transition to GEP.
•  Additionally, collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers, to ensure smooth purchasing workflows. 
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting.
• Help with process improvements and standardization efforts across the supply chain function.

Qualifications:

Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables).

• Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems.

Helpful Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.

• Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.00/hr. to $30.00/hr.
