Sourcing Specialist - Nuclear

About the role:

We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist – Nuclear on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will support the Nuclear Procurement team in the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery assurance of materials and services critical to nuclear plant operations. You will provide a foundation for building a career in supply chain management within a regulated industry. You will report to the onsite manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in the ERP system (NAMS) following company procedures and nuclear quality requirements

• Support sourcing activities including request for quotation (RFQ) preparation, vendor communication, and bid evaluation

• Coordinate with your team — including plant teams, CPED, and Accounts Payable — to ensure and compliant material delivery

• Monitor open order backlog and assist with delivery assurance to minimize past-due purchase orders

• Meet commercial and safety-related material receipt and dedication requirements in collaboration with applicable teams.

• Identify and escalate supply chain risks or procurement issues to senior team members

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with nuclear regulatory standards

• Support process improvement projects and contribute to team training efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Prior experience in procurement, logistics, or a regulated industry

• Familiarity with ERP systems

• Interest in nuclear energy or safety-critical supply chains

• Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $23.00/hr. to $28.00/hr.
