About the role: Location: Pensacola, FL 32520
We are looking for a Technical Services Specialist - Level 1 - on behalf of our client.
This is a 10 month contract assignment. (W-2) Under direct, this position is responsible for applying diversified technical knowledge and practices to broad assignments across multiple fields. You will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures while using judgment when making adaptations and modifications. Assignments have clear and specific objectives and require investigation of a limited number of variables. Will work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features for which there are few precedents.
Under general guidance, position applies diversified knowledge of technical principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plans and develop technical projects, apply advanced techniques, and modify theories and practices within the field.
- Explore subject areas, define scope, and select areas for investigation with minimal supervision.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- You will use advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in an individual's field.
- Devise new solutions to problems encountered.
- May get guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. May receive technical guidance for unusual or complex problems.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree helpful.
Relevant Experience: 1 or more years of experience applying diversified knowledge of technical principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments.
