Maintenance & Technical Training Manager
Your day to day:
M&T Training Manager:
This M&T Management Resource is to be tasked with the following functions:
- Provide oversight and overall coordination of Supplemental Personnel training and exemptions in accordance with site program governance
- Review and approval of Material Handling training exemptions.
- Provide oversight and overall coordination of in-processing and General Employee Training in accordance with site program governances
- Provide oversight and overall coordination of non-accredited training qualifications in accordance with site program governances
Scope:
100 Incumbents who will be going through the program
Broad scope:
Doing the fundamental training using CORE 1.0 and eventually CORE 2.0
System Training provided by PLANT which is the same as CORE as the fundamental program
Self-guided courses, skilled base courses, and training onsite
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline required. Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or Business preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion
- 10 - 15 years of experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction is preferred.
- Familiar with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)’s Project Management Body of Knowledge required. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or other approved equivalent project management certification is desired or otherwise required to be completed within 1 year.
- Preferred candidate will have a broad knowledge of nuclear power plants and be familiar with utility business practices including knowledge of utility operations, maintenance and engineering practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, such as effective verbal and written communications; ability to lead team members; ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and ability to make decisions and carry out multiple tasks as assigned, with minimal guidance from supervisory Project Managers and mentors.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Office tools. Knowledge and skill of project scheduling and cost management.
- Demonstrated ability or understanding of the transformation of data to information for reporting; High-quality presentation skills.
