P6 Scheduler

About the role:

We're looking for a P6 Scheduler on behalf of our client. This is a 1 year contract assignment.(W-2) You will evaluate daily P-6 work schedules to improve equipment availability and personnel usage; recommend appropriate modifications. Publish daily work schedules and monitors progress. Document schedule problems, maintains statistics and performs trend analysis.

Be the liaison with engineering department and vendors to coordinate activities. You will manage the development of computerized critical-path schedules for daily maintenance activities and for refueling and maintenance outages. You may provide guidance to nonexempt employees as assigned. You will report to the onsite Manager.

Location: Palo, IA 52324- Per diem available

1 year contract assignment.(W-2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares publishes, and monitors daily schedules for refueling outages and daily maintenance; performs root cause analysis for schedule problems.

• Must be knowledgeable of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, P6, Online scheduling applications, Work management processes

Qualifications:

•  6 - 10 years technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations AND AS degree in Engineering or related physical science

•  We may consider prior relevant military experience as equivalent.

•  Relevant Experience: Independently leads maintenance scheduling and trend analysis activities.
