Contract - Project Assignment 2+ months
WECTEC Staffing has a Contract Opening for a Project Manager (PM).
The PM provides oversight of engineering and construction projects and their progress from conception to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The PM will be responsible for implementation of projects as follows:
Maintaining the project schedule deliverables and cost controls
Monitoring compliance with company and site procedures and government safety regulations
Meeting contractual conditions of performance
Coordinating and directing engineering and construction workers and subcontractors
Reviewing the work progress and preparing job status reports
Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Planning to prevent problems and resolving emerging issues
Selecting tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
The PM must have working knowledge and experience in EVMS systems, project management, execution plans and procedures, building methods and products, construction details and related design codes and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree.
PMP certification is preferred.
