Opportunity Overview:

Safety Specialist - Contract Outage

You will report on site to the South Texas Project in Wadsworth, Texas.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Contractor will evaluate adequacy of safety measures, safety operating procedures, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Provide guidance and training to staff and help develop corrective actions.
• Provide training on safety regulations and procedures.
• Prepare reports of findings of inspections, safety violations, and recommend corrective action to manager.

Who You Are:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or equivalent.
• Prior experience leading safety meetings, walkdowns
• Utility Experience
• Safety Certifications
• You will successfully pass the nuclear background, medical fitness for duty and pre-employment drug screen.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $50/hour to $53/hour.
