About the role:

Sr. Quality Control Inspector Level III

The length of the contract is for 6 weeks.

You will report onsite at South Texas Project in Wadsworth, Texas.

You will report to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Observe, test, review mechanisms and systems in operations.
  • Inspections include equipment, electrical wiring, joints and steel to ensure stability.
  • Follow strict safety protocols to avoid exposure toxic and radioactive substances.
  • You will use nondestructive testing equipment, magnetic particle detectors, ultrasonic tools, and radiographic equipment.
  • You will work with engineers, managers, site supervisors, and other personnel on location.
  • You will follow the safety rules set by the plant.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of satisfactory performance as a Level III in the equivalent inspection, examination, or test category or class or as determined by the Certifying Authority; or
  • A high school graduation or GED certificate, plus 3 years of related work experience in equivalent inspection, examination, or testing activities; or
  • An associate degree in a related discipline, plus 1-year related work experience in equivalent inspection, examination, or testing activities; or
  • Graduation from a 4-year college/university, plus 6 months of related work experience in equivalent inspection, examination, or testing activities
  • Previous Inspection experience at South Texas Project

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $70/hour to $100/hour.
