Opportunity Overview:

Welder for nuclear outage

You will work on site at South Texas Project Nuclear facility in Wadsworth, Texas.

You will report to the Welding Manager.

Day-to-Day:

• Fabrication and installation of pipe, duct, structural steel, pipe and duct supports.
• Perform high-precision welding on critical systems, such as pipes, boilers, and pressure vessels, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
• You will work with TIG/MIG/arc methods, interpret complex blueprints, and strictly follow nuclear safety regulations.

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of Welding experience in TIG, MIG and Arc.
• Nuclear experience 6 months
• Nuclear background, medical & Fitness for Duty which included pre-employment drug screen
• Pass onsite: 6G weld test, 2" carbon, covers Horizontal, Vertical, and Overhead.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $45/hour to $48/hour.
