Controls Engineer Associate Contractor

Responsibilities with Guidance & Leaning:
In this position, Control Systems Engineering can expect to be involved in the following activities:
• Interpret functional requirements for l&C Plant Systems.
• Designing, documenting and testing l&C Plant Systems used for Nuclear Power Generation Stations applications.
• Develop l&C design specifications to meet functional requirements.
• Implement l&C hardware and software designs to meet design specifications.
• Develop design documents, test plans and procedures to demonstrate that designs meet design specifications and requirements.
• Generate and issue Field Change Notices to site in support of hardware and software modifications.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during system design, implementation and site commissioning/startup.
• Support manufacturing operations to facilitate procurement, manufacturing process, testing and integration of l&C Plant Systems during Software In-Loop and Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Support field operations during site commissioning and startup activities.
• Interface with Supply Chain Management, manufacturing, outside vendors and other departments impacted by l&C Plant systems design & development.
• Provide cost and schedule estimates to support subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Associoate or Training in I&C Technical Training & Currently enrolled in an Engineering Degree Program
- Strong computer skils
- Strong
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- 1-5 years experience as an I&C Technician
- Must be able to pass nuclear background and drug screen
