Billing Specialist

Opportunity Overview: Billing Specialist (9 - 12 month contract) supporting BHI Energy in Weymouth, MA.

WECTEC Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist supporting BHI Energy in the Weymouth, MA office.  This is a 9 - 12 month contract opportunity with a focus on financial data in the billing department.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Prepare invoices in accordance with customer requirements
• Identify inconsistencies between billing, payroll, and A/P data
• Interface with payroll, A/P, operations, and contracts to address internal discrepancies
• Reconcile customer generated payments with expected amounts based on internal billing data
• Manage and track incoming payments
• Work with customers to resolve past due amounts
• Answer customer’s questions and address problems

What we need to see from you:               

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position is preferred
• Strong MS Excel skills necessary.
• Great Plains experience helpful. 
• Detail oriented with a focus on numbers and financial data.
• The ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Some overtime may be necessary during peak business times.
