The Engineered Systems & Solutions (ESS) Director of Sales is accountable for overseeing a team of sales representatives focused on a Business Segment product portfolio to meet the overall sales objectives for the business segment.  This individual is responsible for leading cross functional efforts in developing the capture strategy working with the product line managers from the identification of an opportunity through negotiation and finalization of contracts.  In addition, this individual will develop and maintain training plans to ensure the individuals sales teams maintain the appropriate technical and sales related knowledge to fulfill the roles.  This individual has overall accountability for maintaining a sales pipeline committed to meet company objectives which includes the identification and development of opportunities to increase Westinghouse’s market share in existing and emerging markets.


Your Day to Day:

  • Oversee sales team ensuring opportunities within functional area are being managed efficiently through the sales process (bid to contract closure)
  • Develop and maintain technical and sales related training plans focused on business segment needs.
  • Lead Capture strategy for opportunities including but not limited to identifying bundling opportunities, cross coordination of products to present customer oriented solutions,, and working with Product Management and Account Management to define target price and target costs
  • Oversee Negotiations with the client until final contract signature, ensuring proper teamwork and alignment with all relevant WEC teammates including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, finance, and supporting organizations.
  • Facilitate negotiation with Consortium partner whenever relevant and drive alignment with all relevant WEC teammates
  • Oversee the management of opportunities and upkeep within the customer relationship management tool for associated opportunities.
  • Lead LOA and offer processes within Westinghouse including presentation and obtaining buy-in from WEC key stakeholders to ensure offering meets Westinghouse target objectives and Customer needs.
  • Located regionally within customer base to support responsible product growth areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring in year margin and overall pipeline is maintained and as sold meets Westinghouse objectives for profit driven growth.
  • Meet financial objectives established for the business segment product portfolio including but not limited to Margin As-Sold, Order Entry, Product Pipeline, and Quality of Contracts.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors of Science
  • 10 -15 years of experience working at or with Nuclear Utilities.  
    • Preferred experience with on-site nuclear plant experience in a utility position or customer facing role as a vendor.
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Utility buying processes
  • General knowledge of related Nuclear Plant Operations
  • Sales related experience and/or education
