Responsible for all scheduling activities handled in Primavera P6 for (but not limited to) moderate to high complexity projects, or a portfolio of low complexity projects. May be assigned multiple projects simultaneously.


May be assigned overall scheduling responsibility of a high complexity project in a deputy capacity (with direct guidance of a Program Controls Specialist/Program Manager – or higher).

Must have skills in Primavera P6, communication, cross-cultural awareness, and leadership.


  • Coordinate required tasks/ deadlines based on data-driven analysis from (but not limited to) Primavera P6 schedule. Escalate issues, early warning or potential opportunities to the appropriate levels of management with a sense of urgency. Work closely with the project manager and the project team/stakeholders.
  • Initiate and plan all scheduling aspects of a project in Primavera P6, which includes, but is not limited to project baselines, critical path and risk registers.  Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced, and overall project performance is optimized. Apply schedule analytics to confirm validity of plan.
  • Lead schedule activities, maintaining the Primavera P6 schedule updated with the schedule progress and links. Provide thorough reporting on critical path, float , Earned Value and resource-loading (histograms, S-curves, run-down curves). Proactively anticipate to the Project Manager and Project team the trends, criticalities and warnings that may indicate variances in the schedule metrics. Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process. Promote teamwork and effective communication, which includes maintenance and dissemination of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status.
  • Properly close the project by archiving work in scheduling and resource management systems/ tools (Actual vs Planned Report). Perform and communicate final project quality assessment. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work.
  • Serve as scheduling point of contact for internal and external customers in support of the successful project execution through completion. Integrate project’s objectives and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern.
  • Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.


Profile we are looking for:


  • Bachelor’s degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience or 3 years of scheduling experience and 2 years of experience in a technical role in the nuclear or construction industry.
