Under the direction of the Senior Manager, IT Portfolio Management, this individual will serve as the IT PMO Operations Lead.  They will have responsibility for supporting successful project delivery within the IT department, ensuring projects are executed with efficiency, quality, and alignment to organizational goals.  This person will play a pivotal role in streamlining project management practices, driving standardization, and contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the IT projects and organization.  We will support a Remote candidate in Poland for this role.


Your Day to Day:

  • Perform Business Administrator duties for MS Project Online, such as, User and Group Management, Security and Permissions, Project Creation ad setup, resource management, Portfolio Management, reporting and analytics, troubleshooting and support, and training and onboarding.
  • Guide and mentor project managers in project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Enhance project management processes, methodologies, and standards to ensure projects are executed successfully.
  • Lead and manage development and maintenance of procedures, best practices, and methodologies in support of the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct periodic IT PMO audits to assess adherence to project management processes and compliance with organizational standards.  Hold responsible parties accountable for deviations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of PMO processes and methodologies
  • Coordinate/Collaborate with business unit/function leads on project prioritization and resourcing
  • Enhance PMO performance through development and tracking of performance metrics
  • Coordinate with IT Managers in getting completing data analysis for IT Demand & Capacity efforts to improve IT decision-making
  • Collaborate with Directors and Managers to resolve issues/discrepancies related to project priority or resourcing
  • Facilitate change management processes for project related changes, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.


Who You Are:

  • BA in Business Administration, BS in Computer Information Science, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years Portfolio/Project Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.  Must be able to guide and support project managers throughout project lifecycle using MS Project Online.
  • Ability to analyze project data, generate meaningful insights and create informative reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.  Able to support project teams in adopting Agile approaches where appropriate.
  • Experienced in developing, deploying, maintaining, and improving processes and procedures. Able to perform business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, create effective action plans, and implement rapidly.
  • Available to work in US time zone 2-10 PM CEST
