Non-Licensed Operation Instructor – Training School at Cofrentes NPP
We are seeking a graduate or master’s degree holder in scientific or technological fields, with a passion for teaching, to join the Westinghouse Training School at Cofrentes Nuclear Power Plant as a non-licensed Operation Instructor.
Main responsibilities:
- After an initial training period, the candidate will assume the role of Instructor, participating in all stages of the training process: analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training courses for plant personnel. These activities will take place in various training environments, including classrooms, workshops, and the plant itself.
- The role also includes responsibilities in both Training and Operational Consulting, as well as Technical Support for electric power generation plants.
- The candidate will be part of a results-oriented team, working with high levels of flexibility and autonomy, and in constant communication and collaboration.
Requirements for the position (1 Non-Licensed Operation Instructor):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in scientific or technical disciplines (Engineering, Physics, etc.).
- Teaching ability and motivation for training.
- Willingness to live close to Cofrentes Nuclear Power Plant.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Availability to participate in national and international projects within the organization.
Additional qualifications valued:
- Education and/or experience in the Energy Sector.
- Education and/or experience in Nuclear Technology.
- Education and/or experience in Radiation Protection.
- Education and/or experience in Digital Environments.
- Experience in power plants or industrial facilities.
- English level above B2.
- Willingness to travel and stay for extended periods at national or international locations during project participation.
- Organizational skills such as teamwork, adaptability, customer orientation, flexibility, and innovation.
