General Job Function:

Westinghouse will provide a dedicated manager that will act as the primary Alliance interface with the Customer Alliance Director or Customer Single Point of Contact on all matters to create an environment in which both parties act like one entity to meet the strategic goals of this Alliance.  The Westinghouse Alliance Director will manage the overall planning of the projects associated with this alliance agreement.  This Westinghouse Alliance Director will also be responsible for combining the Westinghouse’s knowledge of the equipment design, manufacturing, and performance with Customer’s knowledge of plant design, operations, and maintenance to optimize the plant performance of the units covered by this Alliance Agreement.   


Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

•    The Westinghouse Alliance Director will work closely with the Customer Alliance Director or Customer Single Point of Contact to ensure the       established Alliance directives are followed and shall have first-line responsibility for the overall success of the Alliance in compliance with t          he Agreement. The Westinghouse Alliance Director will report directly to the Sr.  Manager Outage Management, Americas Outage &                  Maintenance Services.

•    Work with the TVA Alliance Director to develop and implement new outage execution models. As part of this process, ensure that                         Westinghouse secures and maintains an optimal role providing maximum value to TVA as well as Westinghouse. 

•    Work with the Alliance Team to develop overall strategy and business plan that addresses all aspects of the relationship including                       expectations and values.
•    Work with Customer to maintain equipment in proper condition allowing for continuing reliability and availability.
•    Work with Customer to develop a long-term integrated outage maintenance program that meets and continually improves alliance objectives        including safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

•    Serve as the key focal point for the Alliance communications with TVA executives and management.  •    
•    Continually strive to develop innovative processes allowing for further improvement on the alliance goals.•    
•    Coordinate Outage Optimization workshops when scheduled and executed.•    


Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

 Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement: Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Skills and Competencies: Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of contract management, field project leadership and customer interface.
