The IT Governance and Risk Management Lead assists management with the planning, coordination, development, administration, and execution of the IT Governance & Risk Management programs and projects.   

This individual acts as a mentor and coach, coordinates IT professionals on day-to-day operations with input from management, and provides subject matter expertise to the program. This is a US Only Remote ROLE.


Your Day to Day:

  • Ensure the continued operations of the IT Governance and Risk Management programs and processes as directed by management.
  • Work with management to implement strategy and present regular progress reports and recommendations on program improvements.
  • Prioritize and organize the work of staff ensuring day-to-day operations of all IT Governance and Risk Management programs.
  • Maintain awareness of and competency in the NIST Risk Management Framework and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Provide project management support to IT Governance and Risk Management initiatives.  
  • Implement programs, create documentation, monitor progress, and develop status reports for IT Governance and Risk Management activities.
  • Create enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures) as directed by management. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate IT Governance committee activities. 
  • Consult with IT organization and business partners on the publication and maintenance of IT documentation.
  • Support the IT Governance and Risk Management program as directed by management.


Who You Are:

  • BS or BA Degree or Equivalent experience
  • 5 years of IT work experience and a minimum of 4 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Certifications related to specific in technical area of competency preferred. (For example, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSAP, DCRS, EDRP, etc.)
