APX Sr. Procurement Specialist

About the role:

As a APX Sr. Procurement Specialist you will perform important activities to ensure supply continuity across specific commodities. You will take direction from the APX Procurement Manager and work to deliver cost, quality, delivery, and reliability to reach organizational goals. Support for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues.

You will report to the Manager - AP1000 Electrical Category and be located at our Cranberry, PA facility. We will require you to be in the office two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will support WBS 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11 (Fuel and Material Handling, Aux equipment, electrical and I&C) Teams for Energy Systems Business Unit.
• Support efforts to develop nuclear qualified suppliers and acts as primary liaison between the Energy Systems Team and suppliers – includes travel (10-20%), domestic and international.
• Provide support, when needed, to AP1000 project team for supply chain related activities outside of WBS 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11.
• Conduct business analysis of spend from PowerBI and other tools. Provide insights into the drivers of spend history and possible effects to future spend projections.
• Track performance against metrics of payment terms, on-time delivery, productivity, inflation, price variance, commodity changes, and other business critical metrics to share with Procurement Leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business required.
• 0 -5+ years of experience in a Procurement position using SAP and PowerBI.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $76,400 to $95,500 per year.
