APX Strategy Analytics Intern Summer 2026

About the role:

As an APX Strategy intern, you will support new nuclear plant (APX) proposal and project planning activities. You will achieve this by building and improving data-driven tools, analyses, and dashboards that strengthen decision-making across offers, resource demand planning, cost estimating, schedule planning, and risk management.

You will report to the APX Product Strategy Director and be located at our Cranberry location This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help develop and maintain standard datasets, definitions, data models, and presentations used across proposals and planning (e.g., cost, schedule, resources, assumptions, and risk tags).
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics tools to support daily planning and offer development.
• Create clear, executive-ready summaries of findings: what the data says, why it matters, and recommended actions/questions.
• Support process documentation and review readiness by organizing supporting analyses, references, and change logs.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• No relocation assistance provided
• Demonstrated analytical capability with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleanup)
• Experience with PowerBI and data modeling

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
