About the role:
As an Advanced Administrative Aide you perform a variety of complex administrative/technical duties to support departmental activity. Job duties for this position reflect the specific nature of the department involved. Ability to apply complex computer skills in software packages over and above word processing (i.e. database management, spreadsheets, web-based applications, etc.) is required.
You will report to the Senior Manager, WEC Cyient and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office.
Key Responsibilities:
WORKING PROCEDURE AND/OR RESPONSIBILITY ASSIGNED:
PERFORM WORK OF EQUAL OR LOWER SKILL LEVEL AS REQUIRED.
In addition to performance of the duties outlined for lower classified administrative positions, perform secretarial and related administrative work as related to the assigned department.
1. Perform advanced administrative duties necessary to plan, coordinate and prepare schedules and proposals for existing and new business.
2. Prepare material (such as reports, diagrams, charts, graphs, etc), and cost/schedule information to be used in presentations to management, customers, or potential customers.
3. Review and analyze changes or requirements that may impact final work product. Revise and reissue work product to reflect changing conditions.
4. Coordinate and expedite the efforts of various personnel providing input into work product to ensure timely and complete delivery. Provide any material needed to support these activities.
5. Prepare a variety of administrative reports by obtaining information from appropriate personnel. Maintain an awareness of project/program activities to ensure that pertinent information is included in reports.
6. Expedite and follow-up on procurement actions and carry out receiving, cataloging, distribution and storage of delivered items and services as required.
7. Review and analyze departmental expense budget financial expenditures, maintain financial records for the various budgetary accounts and prepare budgetary status reports.
DIRECTIONS OF OTHERS:Explain work assignments to lower classified personnel. Coordinate and distribute work as required.
DIRECTION RECEIVED: Supervision is not usually necessary for most tasks performed. Initiative and judgment will be used by the employee in selecting procedures, priorities and methods used to complete assigned work. Will receive work assignments from higher classified personnel.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school graduate or the recognized equivalent plus two years of accredited post high school education in a technical or business curriculum in the area of job specialization. Two additional years of experience in area of specialization may be accepted in lieu of only one of the two years of post high school education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of two years as a Senior Administrative Aide, or at least 4 years of internal/external experience equivalent to that of a Senior Administrative Aide. Must be able to type 50 wpm. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products as determined by departmental need.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $43,249 to $73,471 per year.
