Your Day-to-Day:

 

 

 

1. Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.

 

2. Develop expertise in US and international nuclear regulations, including new advanced reactors regulations.

 

3. Create licensing and technical submittals for utilities and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

 

4. Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.

 

5. Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Westinghouse customers

 

 

 

Who You Are:

 

 

 

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

 

1. A degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering preferred. A degree is mandatory, and non-degreed applicants will not be considered.

 

2. Expereience with the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) plants and advanced reactor technologies

 

3. Willingness to travel and accept temporary assignments at a nuclear power plant

 

4. Understanding of NRC regulations and Nuclear Industry Guidance

 

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

6. Expereince with technical writing

 

7. 10 years experiance relative to this role.
