We have an opportunity for a Communications Consultant role as part of the Internal Employee Communications team. This position is located at the company’s global headquarters in Cranberry Township but offers flexibility in location. This role will have main responsibilities for uncovering, writing and publishing of Westinghouse stories across our internal platforms and the execution of internal communication initiatives in support of the business. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project management and writing skills, who is eager to provide value-add communication services to internal customers.  This role will report to the Director, Employee Culture & Global Initiatives.  This is a US only hybrid/mobile role with a strong preference for candidates that can work at our Westinghouse HQ office a few days a week.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Assist with the ideation, development and execution of internal communication campaigns and tactics
  • Propose ideas and write Westinghouse stories across the business, as well as selecting the internal channels used; ensuring appropriate execution and distribution
  • Collaborate on, develop and execute communications plans with internal clients to support business initiatives and wins
  • Support management and coordination of internal Communications channels, including corporate content on the Westinghouse intranet site for employees and on-site displays
  • Manage select design requests with agency services to support internal communication initiatives
  • Support for content proofreading and distribution of global messages

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year of experience in project management
  • Proactively anticipates the needs of clients, identifies and addresses potential issues, makes sound decisions to propose effective solutions and/or gives direction to resolve the issue to ensure a positive end result
