Communications Manager

About the role:

As a Communications Manager, you will define and deploy communications strategies. These strategies will support select global and commercial functions, driving employee engagement and reinforcing line-of-sight to the company's long-term goals and performance. You will also develop world-class internal and external communications content. You will be to apply creative and up-to-date communications tools and use them for Westinghouse. You will work with Global Communications colleagues, partners and sometimes with outside agency partners that will implement plans and meet established goals. You will report to the Director, Employee Culture & Global Initiatives, and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. Hybrid Work Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead communications strategy as a partner with senior leadership to launch and sustain global projects and business execution, and engage the workforce through messaging promoting our values

• Collaborate with teams to produce globally consistent materials to increase engagement and educate our employees on our performance, programs and strategy

• Use industry best practices and familiarity with the organization to inspire communications ideas and content. Identify internal leadership needs and gaps in our content to recommend and develop new topics to senior leaders

• Partner with other members of Global Communications team to ensure delivery of internal materials and messaging

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Degree in communications, marketing communications or journalism preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing communications or journalism

• Demonstrated communications background with proficiency in corporate communications, internal communications, digital media, event execution, public relations or related field preferably in an industrial environment

• Experience in a corporate setting preferred.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
